From the Archives: Block Printing

My guide to using a printing press!

Hey Guys, I’m sorry I missed last week’s creativity roundup. I was busy working on some new sewing projects, plus I was in San Francisco for my sister’s engagement party!

About a year ago, I took a class in block press printing that I thought I’d share. For my final project, I used my Marlboro stencil to create a block print, which I printed onto fabric and sewed into shorts. I made the pattern as well, just because I like to keep as much control over the creative process as possible. Reach out if you want me to share the file.
