Mirepoix and Other Broths

This week, my sister asked me to do a few watercolor graphics to go with her article on broths and stocks. I was happy to help; I love painting food, so this was right up my alley. She wanted one cover image and one ingredient image, so I did both with a warm color palette.

Fun with pastels

I’m also a pastelle girlie now?! Recently, I’ve been trying to branch out past watercolor, and magically, I’ve been bitten by the pastel bug. I love how the paint builds and has this great body. The medium is also very chunky and imprecise, which forces me to focus more on form and color. You can see I’ll put a video below. Just out of curiosity, would you guys like me to make some painting tutorials? I was thinking that could be good paid content.
