Hi guys. I’m all moved to Washington. So far, my master's program is amazing; pretty soon, I’ll start sharing some of the stuff I’ve been learning.
Until then, here’s a decently sized creativity roundup. As always, my stuff is for sale. If you want something from this week's roundup, subscribe, and I’ll send it to you!
Oysters!
As you all know, my current obsession is oysters! I go through phases where I paint one thing for a while and then move on. Before this, it was race car drivers; before that, it was Marlboro cigarettes.
This week, I tried something new! About halfway through my oyster painting, I made it in an infographic-style poster. To plan it out I scanned in the painting, planned out the text, printed it out, and transferred the text back onto the painting. I love this technique and will definitely be doing it more in the future. I’m hoping to finish this piece next week and move on to crabs!

I’m also planning on using this painting to make a material print so I can make it into some clothes. I think some oyster jeans could be super cool!
Racecars!
Before I was obsessed with oysters, I did a lot of racecar drivers. One of the first paintings I ever made was of a racecar driver. Whenever I visit my close friend, Jake, I bring him a painting of a racecar driver as a gift. This week I was seeing him again so I thought I’d make him a little painting to commemorate. What drivers do you think I should paint next?

Crayons
I’m also on a mission to make my art more commercially viable, so I’m returning to my roots. I’ve been doing some crayon doodling, which has been selling insanely fast… It’s fun I guess.

Stay tuned for next week!
